Error 0xc0000142 When Launching Microsoft Office Troubleshooting Guide

Description of the error: Error 0xc0000142 appears when trying to launch Microsoft Office applications and is accompanied by the message "The application was unable to start correctly".

Steps to fix:

1. Restart your computer: Restart your computer to refresh the operating system and end any temporary processes.

2. Update Microsoft Office: Make sure you have the latest updates for Microsoft Office.

   • Open any Office application.
   • Go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.

3. Run the application as an administrator:

   • Right-click on the Office application shortcut.

4. Use the Office repair tool:
